:text-+1: ChiRedbirdFan :text-+1: put his tickets up on the board...FOR FREE. I collected. But not only did I get tickets, he also OVERNIGHTED them to me at his cost. He didn't ask for a single solitary thing in return. Great seats, too, right near the 50. "Great seats, hey buddy?!"

Thanks for the memories ChiRedbirdFan!!! Thanks so much, brother!! Next time, it's my turn for something...

Most sincerely,
~Humdinger :geek:

PS. Can anyone tell me how to post a pic on the new board??

4th and short also helped us out today when he had extras.

The board has always been good about this type of stuff over the years

anything to fill seats with redbird fans,

someone said on other thread that east side wasn't totally filled, though last I checked it was sold out except for maybe 10 isolated seats about a week ago. West side looked mostly filled. We reported just 12,100 for homecoming game. How can we sell out InSU but not homecoming ??

Do we report tickest sold, or actual people in attendance ?

Actual people in attendance. And the east side was definitely not filled. Disappointing to see so many empty seats since we were unable to buy tickets on the east side.

So how did they report sell out for InSU ?

Regardless, this is bad, especially on homecoming .. but I half get some people are there just for seeing other people.

Any precedence for college ticket offices setting up an unused ticket exchange for season ticket holders ? They have all their info ... just make it easy for people to give up their tickets, then resell them .. ISU could keep half the money as a fee, and give the other half back to original ticket holder. I'm assuming 95% of no shows are season ticket holders.

I agree with the disappointment of no-shows - I had several neighbors who decided late they would like to go - but only if they could be on the East side. I wish they would have said something sooner - I know of several season ticket holders who went to Peoria for the Normal West HS football game and of all things - I heard of THREE weddings yesterday. I have told my kids - You will NOT have your wedding on a Football Saturday - Piss Poor Planning will not be tolerated.

You're welcome Humdinger and thanks for the shout out from you and cpacmel! I know I do come off as an @ss at times but I swear that is not the intent.
As for the game i just wanted to have Redbird fans in the seats when playing a big time team vs them sitting empty so mission accomplished. Speaking of mission accomplished the Redbirds brought their football playoffs chances back to life with the big win.

Maybe we can all get together and tailgate at the Western or NDSU game?

My family of 3 will be at the NDSU game, and I'm always up for saying hey and enjoying a beverage or 3 before the game. Just let us know what parking lot to stop through and we'll do our best to drop in.

I always sit over by the band on the west side...and once again 1/3 of the students got up and walked out right after the halftime show was over. This in game against the 4th best team in the nation, and in a game where we had the lead. I heard some of the students talking and I think they are only there to see their friends in the band or something. Nothing else makes sense, unless they all suddenly had to do laundry.
