Nice story about Robbie Avila. Hard not to root for this kids when you see him play on the court and now you see this off the court.

I was talking with a friend of mine who is an SIU grad, Avila played for Bryan Mullins dads AAU team and wanted to come to Southern. Bryan decided to take the 7-footer from Amarillo, Texas who has barely played in his 2 years at SIU. I don't know if the story is true or not but it makes for a good story.
