Never thought I'd say it, but, sometimes, ya just gotta rip the band-aid off. Dan is a dear friend and great coach, but so much has changed @ ISU, in college athletics, and the world in general, sometimes a puff of fresh air can evolve into a hurricane of refreshment.
Losing to Valpo like we always do makes me think twice about the teams the Valley expands to. Maybe Chicago State and a few SWAC teams would be good additions. The Valley is turning into a 1 bid league so we might as well make it as weak as possible.
That being said, with the state of the Valley I still think this team can avoid the Thursday play in game and who knows....if they can shoot well from 3 for 3 games in row, we're going dancing!

Dan Muller should have a side statue to the one of Coach Will & Doug. Player and mentor, has done the best during down times outside hoops.
