Steve Adams is still great. No need for change there IMO.

i don't know what else to suggest. I made it to 4 games last year, I think. I wish i could attend more.

:text-+1: Steve Adams is the best PA I have heard and that includes profession sports, P5 football and basketball. He is not flashy and does not over do it. He is great.

Why not report both tickets sold and actual attendance? I don't understand one or the other as they can be very different for some games.

I wonder if our AD has a metric regarding student attendance. Compared to other schools with around 22,000 students what percent on average would attend a basketball game. It seems your percent might be low, but I have no idea. I like to see more students at the games ...for all our sports. It makes the whole college experience that much better, increases school pride, etc.

Working for the school I've heard various reasons why we kept our enrollment up over the years. One is that we have a great community here in Normal, also we have an attractive campus and the student gets good value for their education dollar. A few years ago the person who managed our enrollment said to not underestimate the positive affect ISU got when they played in the football championship. That was a big deal for the students here. I can only imagine what getting into the NCAA tourney will do when that happens...AND IT WILL HAPPEN!

Based on what I've seen at the basketball games, I'd say definitely sub-1000. Maybe even around 500. (not talking the WSU game, here) Which ain't gonna create an electric atmosphere. It's too bad because the games with other rowdy students make such good times and create incredible memories from the overall college experience.

Someone else might have better perspective on football metric.
