Game two of the home-and-home series.

I have a feeling that this game will be very close (unless Lickliter has lost his team).

Last night almost seemed like Todd was sending the players a "you are so smart, you figure it out" message. If that is indeed the case, it will be interesting to see how they respond.

And if the game is officiated like the one in Springfield was Wednesday night, game flow and rhythm will be tough to come by (plus we do not seem to handle short-term success seamlessly).

We saw last year how vastly different back to back games can be. We slaughtered SIU in game 1 and got it handed to us the next day by them.

Can’t we assume that SIU was a better team than the current Eville dumpster fire?
I agree...but I expect the Aces to put Friday's game behind them and come out ready for a battle and the Birds need to do the same. E-ville isn't good but not as bad as we saw. They lost by 2 to SIU 1 to Drake. All that said, I think we beat the spread.

I thought SIU all day yesterday as well. We cant expect to shoot 70% again or to have that many runouts for layups and dunks.
This is a MUST game to avoid Thursday. Just win....

Let’s see if muller can keep the team on point mentally. If so, we should win this game. We are clearly the better team physically, now we need to be focused and not pull a SIU deal like last year. Let’s get two from them and move on.

This is what I want to see. I want to see some mental growth. Athletically we can compete with anyone in this league. We just need to come to play every game no matter who we are playing.

Looks like muller is experimenting with random rotations again… this never ends well
