Tulsa's season is over. Rey Idowu had a very nice season as a role player off the bench. 7.9 ppg, 3.8 boards, and shot 52% from the floor.

Jefferson is in the portal but at UW-GB he had 14.8 points, 3.3 boards, and 2.7 assists, shooting 38% overall and 34% from 3.

This Redbird team had 7 total NBA draft picks (including a 1st and a 2nd) - the 1st six guys and Randy Henry. Not all the same season.

There were 8 rounds then, but I think only 14 teams.

Kaza Keane (Le Mans) and Mikyle McIntosh (Le Portel) played against each other yesterday. They play in the LNB Pro A, which is apparently the top league in France. Kaza had 14 points and 10 assists in 23 minutes in his team's 90-61 win. McIntosh had 4 points and 3 boards in 26 minutes.

Interesting enough, former Evansville standout, Egidijus Mockevičius is on Kaza's team.

Kaza has certainly become a surprise to me. He just seemed so one-sided when he was a Redbird. Dribble towards the middle and get stuck. Glad he’s doing well and has certainly developed into a nice contributing member in international pro ball.

FWIW, Elijah Clarance avgd 14.4 / 4.0 / 3.0 this past season for Orsijek in the top Croatian league. Not bad for a guy many on here didn’t think was worth a damn.

Yeah, I'm with cubird. Fact is he WASN'T worth a damn for the year he was here. .242 FG%, 2 for 23 from 3, which is .087! 32 TO's in 21 games, where he only played 11 minutes per game.

Sure wish he'd stuck around.

He was hurt the one season he played. Then he blew up in the Worlds and now he's playing at a high level in one of the best European basketball leagues. But yeah, we didn't need him. Glad that bum left us in late summer.
