All I have to say.... I better not hear anyone on this board trash talking Horne’s game again. Kid is a warrior, 20 pts 5 steals 4 rebs 3 assists. Horne can’t pass, Horne can’t what? Kid is balling and trying to keep his team in games. Reeves showed up tonight. Strong, simply M.I.A. Fleming Jr should start the remainder of the season. What more does this kid(Horne) have to do? Losing sucks and I get it, but nothing will change until change is forced! Just my 2 cents!!

Horne, Reeves, Fleming, and Washington should be playing a majority of the minutes. Dusan is fine, but beyond that the front court is trash. Even if Fisher didn’t opt out they have zero depth there. I have no idea why Sissoko was starting and getting so many minutes.

Horne had been great, Reeves more up and down but with potential. Boyd when healthy good. Mahorcic would be a good complimentary front court player but not the #1 guy. Fleming could be good. But again only Horne and at times Reeves/Mahorcic that’s not enough. Especially with a coach that seems clueless on the X’s and O’s. The rest is all potential, who thinks Dan will develop it?

Fisher could've helped quite a bit. May not have won many more, but at least we would have been in more games and coulda/shoulda won today's. Mahorcic was recruited to help Fisher, not be our primary big.

But, that's where we're at.

He’s not necessarily doing nothing. He’s just not doing anything correctly.
I wouldn’t say not doing anything correctly. Horne has clearly taken another step. Reeves is developing. Fleming is growing up before our eyes. The guard play is solid more often than not. Emon Washington looked pretty good coming off injury tonight. The front court is atrocious. Fisher, Idowu, Bruninga. Any combination would be a huge help.

Maybe it is time for Brian Reese to find employment elsewhere?

Exactly. At least Chicago St had the wherewithal to call it a season. We will keep on playing. We will keep on losing. We will go to St Louis and get shit kicked on Thursday night and muller will return next year for year 10 and continue to suck. Thank you f’ing Larry Lyons.
the more losses the worse the season looks the higher the chance this idiot is fired.

I wonder what kind of interview questions we threw at our newly hired AD.

"Hypothetical question: let's say you had a popular coach who's also a former star player. And let's say his teams had multiple bad seasons in a row with no signs of improvement. And let's say he has another few years on a bloated contract that the university regrets. How would you handle that?"

Hypothetically, of course. Not that we know any university in this much of a jam.
