Today's Indy Star suggested Doughty's Valpo commitment may be under reconsideration due to Lottich being let go. The story really played up his performance in the Class 4A state championship game. Scored 20 leading his team to an undefeated season 33-0 and the championship.
I want to add a little more - was getting ready to run off to the dentist earlier so just dropped in that short note.

Doughty is credited with outplaying Kokomo 6'10 junior Flory Bidunga. In the crowd to see Bidunga - Mike Woodson, Calipari, Izzo, Juwan Howard, Pearl. Doughty's stock may have gone up with some of them. Hope we could get in on him tho.

Discussion in today's Indy Star about Doughty's "re-recruitment". A number of contacts are mentioned, ISU not among them. Too bad, there really aren't any heavyweights in the mix, IMHO. Oh, and he was named one of 6 finalists for Indiana Mr. Basketball.

Since reopening his recruitment, Doughty has picked up Division I offers from Ball State, Eastern Kentucky, IUPUI, Nicholls State, St. Bonaventure and Southern Indiana.

Ball State coach Michael Lewis met with Doughty for an in-home visit last week. He said Eastern Kentucky and St. Bonaventure have shown the most interest among the schools to offer. Central Florida and Iona are among the schools that have inquired, but not yet offered.

Valparaiso did hire a new coach, Roger Powell Jr., who was previously on Bryce Drew’s staff at Valpo and most recently an assistant at Gonzaga. Doughty said as of Friday he had not heard from Powell, but was open to being recruited by Valparaiso.

Not sure if this link will work for you, but it's what I'm looking at so will include it.

Sparks left BSU to portal to IU, leaving a spot for a big at BSU. New BSU coach Lewis is an IU/Hoosier state legend. ISU dealt out again. Oh well.
