I just saw her at the soccer game; she seemed happy. I don't see anything out there about her leaving. Where did you hear this? This article just came out in the Pantagraph; Sorry to hear Terrion Moore is not coming back, as well as Paige.

Uh, I don't know - I read that article and I don't get the sense that coach is going anywhere, and that the list of departures is pretty "normal", at least these days. Saylor isn't coming back because she has a bad back and is graduating. Moore is maybe a surprise, but also she graduates and wants to move on. Two undergrads are looking for more PT, and I know Geitzel from Wisconsin had an injury and already sat out a year to rehab. The key kids are coming back and making room for new recruits.

Don't try to make a fire where there's no smoke, crazy!

This is good actually. I feel bad that I think the true leader is basically retiring, but she had a great career, and it's understandable. The other ladies thank you for helping raise the teams game week in and week out during games and during practice, hopefully you are able to get more playing time and advance as a player. But it's also good that for the most part you have a really good team and some openings that are attractive. The coach has the opportunity to not stay stagnant in terms of players to develop and build the culture.

In a typical year she would have had 4 or 5 people to replace, some because of graduation and maybe 1 transfer. But since some people are sticking around, there aren't the typical graduations this year, so the opportunity some thought would be there for more playing time, is not available, so you would expect more transfers because of this. The revolving door is not the same on the Lady Birds as it is on the mens side. I'm sure Kristen and her crew will continue the upward trend.

I think the problem was with the subject heading. I think he abbreviated this "What The F&^% Coach! You got 5 players leaving???"

Terrion Moore will be a big loss, especially against Bradley. She really made it tough on their star player, Pasha. We kicked their butts twice this year.

I like what they said about our new "Big" coming in. 6-3 and can shoot the three, but plays physical and rebounds.. Doesn't that mean she's basically a superstar?
