Women set new attendance record

It was announced during the education game today a new women’s basketball attendance record was set.

Watching 7000 kids do the YMCA and Macarena is pretty amazing. There is a dull roar in my head even being back in my quiet office.

I wonder how many the men will get tonight when all you have to do is show up with a can of beans to get in. I bet its not 7500, sadly

Had this been setup as a doubleheader like the exhibition game, it might have helped. I'd be shocked if the Men's game eclipses 4K. Any students who went to the Women's game today will be "too tired" to take in the game tonight, and would just be sitting around anyway.

But I digress.

Nice W for the ladies and great to see a packed house. Now the goal becomes 8K for this game next year!
