"I swear, some of you see certain posters’ comments and, without even reading the content, you’ve already formed in your mind a moronic response"
Still not seeing where I said “words were being put in my mouth”.
This is seriously you’re life, playing a game of semantics and then spending hours going through old messages on this site in an attempt prove your point?
Wow.
Maybe get outside, breath some fresh air and go on a walk.

"Show me where I ever said anything as remotely moronic that Tone was the only my player to ever have a chance to transfer up. I’ll wait"
Still waiting…
Redbird2004 is anxiously awaiting another of your posts so they can slobber all over it.

I can just seen them now…
“Yeah, yeah, good one Redbird Fanatic. You sure showed him.
By the way, what time do you need me to pick up your laundry?”

My hours spent actually equated to a reading half dozen posts in the same thread. That and my super human ability to retain what I read. Whatever dude. Perhaps you just struggle to put in writing, the dialog in your head. I actually just came in from outside(cold and in the 40s so it was a short trip) You're kinda a one hit wonder and now that Muller is gone, you're still hunting for how to deal with life here in the aftermath. I get it. You keep on saying things you said weren't what you said when you get a reply. Its Saturday I think. Every day is Saturday for me, so Monday will feel just the same, but at any rate enjoy your day.

You really are obtuse.
I’m the one who started this whole conversation.
Let me spell it out slowly for you…
Of course talented players will be discovered no matter where they play. You with me?
I’m simply saying that having a solid offer from a high level P5 program (the assumption here is Reeves getting a chance to transfer to Wisconsin) and turning it down because you want to pad your stats at a program playing at an easier level, would likely raise a red flag.
Still with me, Sherlock?
The thought of a P5 school having a public offer out to someone on a non P5 roster is funny within itself.

Not sure of posting on this tread. But, —— the days of loyalty to a program, school, system is not what it used to be. For a lot of other sports, yes the degree from the school means a lot. Many of these men’s basketball players have a plan to go somewhere to play after they use up their eligibility. Not just the NBA, or Europe but all over the world. Others it maybe a chance to sit on the bench, maybe be a role player on a NCAA tournament team. And, for some they realize they need a degree when playing days are over. For any of us to guess what a player, his family, and influencers are thinking right now is just that a guess.

Plus, who does the new coaching staff want???

Lastly people here can wish that the players have loyalty to ISU, but they at the end of the day need to do what they think is best for them. The world has changed and we can either deal with it as it is, try to change what we can, or complain about it.

Bottom line..Pedon better be able to recruit his best 2 players on this team. With a couple impact player additions, this team can compete in the Valley next year. This not a total rebuild.

I think we'll all be thrilled if he can get some people to stay. But if he does or doesn't, it won't matter for the long haul. I've always given a coach 4 years, to see if there is steady improvement or regression by year 4. While the transfer rules have changed it up, I still think thats a good rule of thumb. Pedon seems to have a lot going for him as a coach, so I won't be too worried if he starts on the "rebuild" level, because I think he'll settle in and get the results we all want sooner than later regardless.

So, Cali, d’ya think you could have had better luck in this thread if you hadn’t resorted to calling members of the board obtuse, morons, crusty-get-off-my-lawn-crew, hillbillies, or circle jerk members?

Reeves is gone, that was made fairly obvious after being around his family and talking over a few cocktails at the tourny. In all honesty, I wouldn't be opposed to cleaning house completely and starting over so he can get started building the team he wants. Clear the bench of all the players and coaches and let's start building a non sucky culture here. There are a few players I wouldn't mind seeing stick around. But it would also be nice not having anything left from this year to bring back bad memories lol

His family told me that last year as well. Tone seems to make his own decisions.

I am torn between wanting a couple of the guys to stay and a complete rebuild.
