I still think Reeves will be noticed more scoring 20+ at ISU than 12-14 at Wisconsin.
I’m thinking an NBA scout seeing Reeves pass up an opportunity to challenge himself at a Big Ten program (Wisconsin) and staying at ISU, simply to pad his ppg, would consider that a red flag.

Or a positive because the player knows how to put himself in the best position to succeed. Honestly none of us know because we aren't scouts.

Cali....You may be right. I think there are more examples of mid-major scorers making it than 12-14 point scoring guards at a Power 5, but I could be wrong. In the end, IMO, Reeves is not NBA material no matter where he goes to school.

I would disagree with this completely. I don't think an NBA scout would give two rat farts whether Tone stayed or left for a P5 program. I think they want to see him play in the post season. I'd actually probably lobby the opposite as it would tell the scout that the player is likely be loyal to the program and more than likely sign team friendly deals rather than bolt at the first chance. But, I don't think they look at that either.

I wouldn't be surprised if he left for a P5 program, but if he does it is to get more air time where more scouts can see his skills than anything else.

Who I'd like to stay: Reeves, Chatman, Lewis, McChesney, Strong (if he wants to use extra year I think he has)
Everybody else I'm totally fine with leaving and letting Pedon try to replace thru transfer portal or high school recruits
And Fleming

IMO with a 21yr old kid, anything is up in the air with Tone. I would rather be the man at ISU instead of a power 5 where you're the 3rd or 4th scorer. Watching Murray State vs San Francisco game last night I was impressed with Tevin Brown of Murray State and Bouyea of San Francisco. Tone can transfer to a power 5 but he needs to be a guard who wins in March and we need to be that. Those 2 guards in crunch time went out and got after it, trading blows at each other. They took control and boom and wanted the ball. Going to a power 5 where you losing may get you better competition but it doesn't get you looks. Need to win and win in March.

a worthy player could be at a research station in Antartica and a NBA scout would find him
Not saying he’s not worthy and that scouts won’t notice him at ISU…of course they will. I’m simply saying any player passing up a tougher level competition simply to pad their stats at a lower level program would make me question their competitive nature.
For f@#ks sake, you morons need a reading comprehension class.

So did they think less of Ja for staying at Murray past his freshman year?

Did Ja have an offer to play at, let’s say Duke, and tuned it down to stay at Murray?!?
Can’t believe I have to spell this out for you hillbilly’s. Let me know if you need a sock puppet show to help you understand.
Hillbilly huh? Does tone have a offer to play at Duke? No. Huh. Now let me spell this out for you, schmuck. What everyone else is saying is the scouts find players at mid majors all the time. They don't hold that against them for staying put. This has happened even during the transfer years. You don't think P5 were after Ja but they are after tone? The sure sign of a jagoff is someone who can't admit they might be wrong and then resorts to being a pompous ass to people. And yeah I am tired of your damn name calling of everyone on here that dares to not agree with you.
