In this instance I am guessing BU was looking past the Redbirds and thinking about their upcoming weekend games against Loyola. Disrespect is a great motivator. I recall in the Last Dance series that Michael Jordan would go as far as convincing himself that the opponent disrespected him even if it never actually happened. If I remember right, Jordan was pretty good.

Our team shouldn't get mad about it, they should just try to get better. Hopefully we've turned a corner but I fear a payback is coming at Carver. All I’m saying is it’s time to force change. Muller is clearly not the guy, and this streak of bad basketball is agonizing. We deserve better and if means tanking to force that change, then so be it.

I always find it hard to root against my team even in those rare cases where it might benefit them. But this isn’t one of those cases, I agree as does 90% of the board a change is needed. But it isn’t happening, we are in the same spot as SIU was a few years ago. Dan will still be here next year. So I want the team to be as successful as they can be. If they shock us all with really turning it around, great! If not when they are able a change will be made. Unless someone on here is ready to put up 1.5 million or has a few rich friends willing to....
