Yeah, but we’re ahead 12-5 in fouls committed.Getting beat 23-11 on the boards not good

They had 7 fouls a little before the 13 min mark and Birds had 1. By 12:45, Birds had 4. These guys are going to make sure the numbers look even. And then we get 3 fouls in one Rhode Island possession
All things D1 players should know day 1.Figure out how to crash the boards, play defense with our feet- and move without the ball on offense and we can be solid.
Yeah. That means learn to play basketball fundamentals. McChesney gets the ball on the block. Spins left- rather than pump fake and go strong, he decides to spin back right into a double team. LolAll things D1 players should know day 1.
He really needs to turn that potential into production.Yeah. That means learn to play basketball fundamentals. McChesney gets the ball on the block. Spins left- rather than pump fake and go strong, he decides to spin back right into a double team. Lol
He isn’t an inside player. Someone should have been working with Sissoko the last couple years on his inside game. He has the body!He really needs to turn that potential into production.
I know it’s “early” but when you don’t rebound, foul too much, shoot poorly and turnover too much it’s hard to compete and get W’s. Need to see improvement in at least one of these soon ehHe isn’t an inside player. Someone should have been working with Sissoko the last couple years on his inside game. He has the body!

One problem that I see consistently is Pedon wants to play thru the lane and the middle the problem is, is the bigs aren't really talented. Liam isnt a post, Kotov is a liability on offense, Petrakis just wants to shoot 3s, Schmitt is too slow. If Pedon wants to turn this around he is going to need some bigs who are productive and right now we don't have any. We are getting outrebounded by 19 (46-27) and Rhode Island has 19 offensive rebounds and there bigs are mostly freshman. He really needs to turn that potential into production.
Let's hope these guys continue to work hard on fundamentals as a team in practice, show some pride and show everyone how much they can improve. Not sure what the ceiling is for this team...but there are definitely plenty to work on.
That's been the issue for the past 4 years .. no inside game at allOne problem that I see consistently is Pedon wants to play thru the lane and the middle the problem is, is the bigs aren't really talented.
