Time to get the Women's Basketball page warmed up for the season....

So who has WOMEN's team information from Hoopfest?

During a red team vs. black team women's scrimmage, senior Lexi Wallen led the Black team to a 17-16 win as she scored a dozen points, including making a pair of three-point baskets. Mary Crompton led the Red team with six points while Paige Saylor dished out three assists.

I figured she had a lot of time to prepare for basketball this season. Probably worked on her shooting. It will be fun to see how much better she'll be this year.

Couple comments in today's Pantagraph article suggest the Redbirds played well in closed scrimmage vs. Wisconsin last week. I didn't see a comment in the local paper in Madison, but there's a couple of comments on the Badger discussion board (buckyville.com) which say it might be so. One said ISU "took it to" the Badgers. Also said UW may have sat a couple of their good players. UW is not a Big 10 power for what its worth.
