They did what they needed to do although it was sloppy at times. Road wins are always good.

Wilson sat most of the 1st half. She had 10 points from the line in the 3rd quarter, with at least one other basket plus 8 boards in the 3rd quarter. Almost a double - double in the 3rd quarter alone. She has gotten better every year, especially at free throws.

Didn't play our best game but got the win. Molly Lenz got a lot of good minutes and had a couple of nice drives to the basket. Was good to see Waite make some 3's.

They may have been emotionally down after beating a very good Lady Bear team last weekend. Good teams find a way to win not playing their best. Doing it on the road is even better. Not like they flew first class to Valparaiso.

The key is getting her open. When opponents put lockdown defenders on her, we have to adjust our game with how we get her open for shots.
