It's funny. A few games ago Ally Gietzel got in during garbage time. I'm like, wow she looks pretty good and I'm wondering why she hasn't playing more. I know she's a freshman, but still. So yesterday she gets a lot playing time and did really well. Afterward, the coach makes a comment, kicking herself for not playing Ally more this year. So look out for her. She was a 3 star recruit as well, so her playing well is probably not a fluke. We need somebody that can shoot. If we only had Mary Crompton back as well, then we'd be shooting better for sure. I think she's the one that beat Copeland in the 3 point shooting contest during hoopfest.
There is a reason why Gietzel was recruited. I believe her knee needed more healing. I am looking forward to her for the next 3.5 seasons... And with Crompton launching from three-land... ISU is going to be exciting. Now find a 6-6 juco to own the lane and look out Drake.

While I love the enthusiasm and I hope you are right, have you seen Drake's size? I think all their players are like Simone's height. They are so dang good.
I will bet money on who wins the tournament. You can have the field. I'll take Drake.

I knew MSU was young and undefeated when they played us. They didn't look that impressive beating us, but yeah, good for them. Still undefeated. They'll be the team to beat next year for sure. I'm with Quinn on Drake this year. I'm thinking Drake goes down there and beats MSU in Springfield too. Wasn't that Drake's first conference loss in like 40+ games. Surprised it happened to them in Des Moines though.
