University of Texas at Arlington is joining the Western Athletic Conference.

We no longer have to worry about them joining the Valley.

unlike Chicago State, I am sure they wanted to ensure they at least had a conference affiliation for next season. Clock is ticking and doubtful anyone really wants to try and go it as an independent these days.
