Used gymnasium wood...I would love to make a frame with it..

Anybody have any knowledge where I might stumble across some gym's basketball court wood? I have an old team photo and would love to have it framed in some leftover piece.

The photo is 20 inches by 15....

Any ideas....let me know...

Not sure how productive this might be, and maybe the "payoff" is too long term, but it's what crossed my mind.

There's a website and a facebook page, both called Illinois High School Glory Days. It's all about schools that have closed. It's a fantastic site really. Anyway, the facebook page sometimes has stories about schools that are closing and/or being torn down. You might be able to get hooked up thru that?? Just a thought.

Chuckie, here's a link from a story on the HS Glory Days facebook page that is what I was thinking of. Not exactly offering wood from the gym floor, but you get the idea. Might give you a contact to see if you could scarf up what you're looking for.
