The team departed today for Las Vegas. ISU opens against UC San Diego at 8:30 on Friday. UC San Diego may be the weakest team in the field. It does not appear the game will be streamed.

Have a huge opportunity to win this tournament. A handful of quality mid majors in this tournament. UNLV is probably the team to beat as the reigning Mountain West champions. Albany is the reigning American East champs. ISU is ranked 8th while Albany is ranked 14th in the collegeinsider.com mid major poll. George Washington, Louisiana Tech, and UNLV are not considered mid majors in this poll.

Nice 79-62 win today over UC San Diego. Jada Stinson saw her first action of the season with 8 minutes off the bench. Hannah Kelle also saw her first action, playing a big role with 12 minutes and 6 points.

Next up is Conference USA preseason #2 in 4-1 Louisiana Tech at 4:30 tomorrow. Final game of the tournament will be against either UNLV or George Washington. If the final game is against UNLV, I believe we will be able to view on YouTube.

Next game is a good test. Glad to see they getting back to healthy. They have looked good thus far.

Solid win. They have won the last 3 with Wilson struggling offensively, but they have several scorers. Especially Robinson…

That was a very impressive win tonight over a solid team. Mary Crompton broke the school career 3 point record. The team may start to garner a little national attention with a win tomorrow...

Birds fall 73-66 . . . Dug too deep a hole in the first half to come all the way back.
