A heck of a comeback down 10 with under 4 to play and Wilson fouled out. Showed some grit and determination. Wong came up big, as did Dowell.
On the negative, until the rally, they struggled to score again. The offense has been an issue at times…

A little to close for my heart but a win is a win. Good to see Redbird alum Ashleen Bracey having her team play so well. They aren't going to be the cake walk everyone wants them to be anymore.
As for our Redbirds, just keep finding a way to win.

UIC creates some matchup problems for the Birds and I could dwell on the challenges the first 38 minutes, but like the men’s game in Terre Haute, this is one that we should just enjoy, it was also great to see the MBB team cheering on the ladies

Gritty win. Sure looked like a loss for sure ehen Wilson fouled out. I feel sorry for the 2 or 3 seed that may have to face UIC in MVC tournament. They are a dangerous team.
