This is exactly the kind of player we should be looking for.Wisconsin player into the portal: MIchael Furtney, a 6'5 315 lb OL from Michigan who has started many games over his career;

We already have a kid like that coming in for hoops!!This is exactly the kind of player we should be looking for.
Always thought Himmelman would have looked great in the paint at Redbird…I mean CEFCU…Arena. But he had to protect his NFL prospects so it never happened. We already have a kid like that coming in for hoops!!
Opinions vary...No need to bring somebody in that's going to be the third string besides I like white and I like a couple of the backs they're really good
I haven't given up on Nigel White .. maybe he's nursing something .. but I did have higher hopes for him.Opinions vary...
The reports I read said Mueller broke and dislocated his ankle. I don't know how accurate those reports are or if there was additional damage done. Totally recoverable but we are talking about a running back that must make hard cuts at speed. Will he be fully ready? I think we have to wait and see and nobody will really know until he is on the field. I sincerely hope he is fully healed. I like Wenkers a great deal but he is 6' 200 lbs. Not really all the big and he was running behind a not-so-great O-Line. He got banged up and was nagged by injuries all season. The backups had plenty of opportunity and none of them impressed. In my view, they were not bad but they were average or mediocre at the very best. In Spack's offense, you better be able to run the ball. Even with the improvements in the passing game they still need an RB that can make things go. I still think they would be wise to pick up another running back. And who said they have to go looking for a 3 stringer?
SMU was his original transfer choice; he then changed his mind and went to West Virginia.Looks like SMU
Looks like SMU
Carson Camp in the transfer portal. Thoughts on pursuing him for QB2?
Sacramento State
Nice running back pick up. I hope this isn't an indication of concern regarding Cole Mueller.
Running back room as it currently stands includes:
Cole Mueller
Wenkers Wright
Mason Blakemore
Nigel White
Pha'Leak Brown
Rashad Lampkin
Sean Allen
Lavarion Logan
Joshua Robinson
Going to be A LOT of competition for carries. I wouldn't be surprised to see a departure. 9 scholarships is a lot dedicated to running backs. Going to need some WRs to go along with all these RBs...
Count me in on agreeing with this. Have to think at least 1-2 players are transferring/changing positions.I was thinking the same with the running backs, thats a lot of backs and only so many carries to go around.
This article from October 20th answers the question. Sacramento State alternated two senior QBs this season with good results. The QB is a former Sacramento State QB who seems to have had great success as a player and coach. Looks like a nice spot for Camp to land. He should have a good opportunity there. He was there for their loss vs UIW last week. Don't know their QB situation but seems like a great opportunity to play for a high quality program
