I was trying to figure out where we stand with tiebreakers.

I found the document for 2016.

Does anyone know if anything changed or are the tiebreakers the same this season?

(Without clicking on the link) Last year's tiebreakers were determined by head-to-head competition, followed by RPI. That's a pretty streamlined way to do a tiebreaker since RPI is pretty objective.

You can track it here. http://realtimerpi.com/rpi_mvc_Men.html

We got a nice bump beating Valpo. If the season ended today it would be 1-LUC, 2-DU, 3-BU, 4-SIU, 5-ILST, 6-MOST, 7-INST, 8-UE, 9-UNI, 10-VALPO.

Explanation:
Drake is 2-0 vs SIU/BU. BU is 1-1 vs SIU/DU. SIU is 0-2 vs DU/BU
ILST is 2-1 vs INST/MOST. MOST is 1-1 vs ISU's, and INST is 1-2 vs ILST/MOST

It is too bad Elgin caved a couple of years ago and backed off making the tiebreaker strength of schedule RPI. He wanted the teams to schedule better. So much for that.

Good info Adunk33. If the season ended today we would be playing SIU in the 4-5 game, but there is alooong way to go. The two games vs. MO St. and Bradley are HUGE in helping our cause to stay out of the Thursday night game. Winning on the road, this year in particular, is awfully difficult. If we win either of those games we will have the season sweep and earn a really important tie-breaker that could send either to Thursday night. IMO Loyola is far and away the most balanced solid team and they are "Cleaning Clocks" right now. We could really finish anywhere from 2-9 if you really look at it. Most likely 5,6,7 IMO. Winning at least one game on the road that we didn't expect to get could be the difference of 2 games in St. Lou or a date with Thursday Night. Looks like the tie-breakers could theoretically apply to virtually every MVC team outside of Loyola when it is all said and done. Here's to hoping we put something together down the stretch.
