Based on the standings, head to head records and the projected NET rankings. I looked at how we would match up against every team in the MVC if we split the season series and ended up in a tie. In this scenario we would lose every single head to head tiebreaker scenario due to NET ranking. This even includes a tiebreaker with Bradley since any hypothetical situation that we tie with them requires them winning a lot of games and us losing a lot which would drop our NET ranking below them.

This makes Sundays game extremely important because although a loss brings us into a tie in the standings, we would then lose the tiebreaker regardless if we win the return game, essentially a two game swing.

For us to win any tiebreakers other than EU we have to sweep MSU, UNI, Drake and INSU. With the way the standings are bunched together it would be very easy for us to slip out of the top 3 without a strong finish.

I mentioned a few weeks ago... it is going to be funny that NET is going to play a HUGE role in deciding Arch Madness seeding even though it wasn't really designed for teams outside the P6.

I wish they would go back to the point system. What you do outside of conference shouldn't help determine conference seeding.

Plus it was madness to try and track. :D

I agree with Quinn on the point system - that made a lot of sense.
