With as bad as everyone outside of Drake and Loyola is, we might have a shot at finishing mid pack.

I thought Missouri State would be better. SIU is who I thought they would be. I thought UNI might struggle early with Greene coming back after missing a year

Schmitt comes in a scores and we sub him out for Andrews. They immediately attack low and score. And then Andrew throws the ball away for a turnover and fast break. SmH

Missouri State is an enigma this year. I really thought they were going to vie for an at large bid this season. Right now they are reminding me team of guys looking for theirs instead of the team. Dana has his work cut out for because he could lose this team.

Michigan St jumps out to a 9 - 0 lead. Loyola fights back and leads 28 - 23 at half. Great defense by Loyola

Michigan St wins 63 to 61 on a lob dunk with just over 3 seconds to go. Loyola switched on the high screen and MSU took advantage of the mismatch.

Tate hall missed a shot with about 20 seconds. Got his rebound and tried to go up and lost the ball. I thought he should have dribbled out and held for the last shot. Entertaining game

For sure an entertaining game. Very sloppy but fun. Hall has been playing too long not to take the offensive rebound back out with 20 or so secs to play. Also, why Valentine didn't use any of his time outs is wild. I feel like he was coaching a little scared against his mentor. On the last shot, Norris could've dribbled two more times or pass rather than launching a half courter. There was enough time.

Good news for Loyola is that they'll have 2 more chances at quality wins in that tournament. Also, being the first game of the day is great for rest. They play at 1:30 tomorrow. Their opponent's game will finish around 3:30 or so. Two extra hours of rest and they can watch the next game and do advanced scouting.

Drake played Alabama well. Game was tied with about 5 to go. Penn had just fouled out and Wilkems was cramping up.

Loyola controlled the entire game against Arizona St. I was not impressed with DJ's new team. This is the second gameni have seen them play and they are gkingvto struggle in the Pack 12

I am not watching the game but how is SIU losing to a winless Alcorn St team in Carbondale? Down by 14 with 12 to play.

Loyola played MI State down to the last shot. MSU has some tall pogo stick guys. Loyola guards will keep them a lot of games.

Raise your hand if you're old enough to remember Bob Lanier! :)
I do. He wore like a 21 0r 22 size shoe. They said he feet came through the doors to the floor 5 minutes before the rest of his body made it through.
