How many players are now currently playing in the NBA from the MVC? How many MVFC are playing in the NFL?

Cannot find NBA numbers but at the start of the season 28 in NFL. Don’t think that qualifies for bottom feeder status

3 current NBA players, Mcderrmot, Fred Van Vleet, and Landry Shamet. But playing professionally making money way more than in the NFL. Also and I hate to get into it with our friend Mark The MVFC and MVC are two different conferences. They do not have the same teams in them and play at different division 1 levels.

It's amazing how a league ranked in the top 1/3 of D1 can be a "bottom feeder".

This is a bottom feeder thread from a bottom feeder poster. And a prime example of why this board has been mocked as a punchline over the years on twitter, at games, etc.

I guess it goes both ways. Some are outlandish posters saying the MVC is awful, others act like it’s the BIG 12. The Valley could use two teams in the Dance...and hopefully one can go along way. I’m betting Loyola.

There is no way the Valley is a bottom feeder league. However, it is and will continue to struggle until there is someway to align football and basketball. A primary reason the Big East broke up a number of years ago - teams fled to the ACC.

There has been expansion at the top tier of conferences. They plucked the very best of the lower 2/3rds of conferences, which we know the MVC has lost teams - even recently. When you are in the top 1/3rd, which are multi-bid conferences, and you look down at the 2/3rds, which are one bid conferences, then is there really a difference between the middle and the bottom?
