The PAC is 12-1 in the tournament, the Buffs the only loss. UCLA is 4-0 including the play in. Because Oregon and USC play each other next, only 3 of the final 8.

ACC down, Big East down, big ten sucked so the PAC 12 stepped up and is having a great tourney. That being said, the Zags look fantastic and I don’t see a PAC 12 team challenging them.

USC matches well with them defensively. I still think Gonzaga wins but it may be closer than you think.

I love the USC coach. I haven’t really watched a lot of them but they beat the snot out of the Ducks so a close game wouldn’t surprise me. I just think it’s the Zags year.

I would have to agree. 28 wins by double digits and 1 in single digits (West Virginia). This includes 3 NCAA wins, Kansas, Iowa, Virginia, and BYU 3 times. They also beat Auburn by double digits. Their offense is something to watch.

USC has length, size and a defensive mind set. I think Zags win but it could be an entertaining game.

What will be interesting is how Zags respond in a tight game since only W Virginia has been close. BYU jumped on them early one game too.

Could be schedule related also. In past sweet 16 games were against one another on Thursday/Friday while regional finals were Saturday evening and Sunday day. This year sweet 16 games did not compete and regional finals on Monday and Tuesday nights.

No big 10 teams (in the final 4).

Two 1 seeds and a 2 seed though, and a team that was in a play-in game.
