Birds are 9-11 to date. Interesting that they are averaging 8 runs a game, but have a losing record - that is a head scratcher. It means there is a glaring problem with pitching - which comes a little later in the article with a team ERA of 6.05 and have given up 101 walks in 169+ innings. Those are huge numbers - after 20 games. This coaching staff has upset many alums over pitching - in terms of philosophy and the type of pitchers they want. The record and numbers are there to see - not good.
