And that’s why I have so much optimism about this group. I’ve said all along there’s not much separating the top teams from this bunch. They did a better job limiting the turnovers in this game and it showed with a dub.

Really nice victory. Great defense today as well. There were some lapses but all in all it was solid. I thought the ball moved well on offense. Lewis had a great game. Still want him to use backboard more but he was still over the court. Love the fact we can hit free throws.

We all should’ve actually seen this coming sooner or later. Believe it or not I believe they can make run in Arch Madness. I don’t think it’s as unlikely as it seem. They’re beginning to play extremely hard people.

Great win for the Birds! To think that we knocked off SIU and Belmont (top 2 in The Valley) and gave Bradley and Murray St. all they could handle is exciting. The past two games were a great sign of resilience and a nice bounce back from the Valpo debacle. Our free throw shooting as a program will someday be the difference in some big games down the stretch and in St. Louis. Go Birds!

I agree. Man the ball movement was so impressive in this game. Bring that every game and stay away from too many turnovers and sure they can make a run. Defensively they were solid today as well.

My only doubt would be the depth issue. This team can win any given day though.

Agreed. Depth will be the issue come STL. I do believe they can take one on Thursday, but going against fresh legs and likely the 1 seed after Mal, Sen, Luke and Klew likely play 95% of Thursday game, tough ask.

I haven’t seen anyone say it yet but Kotov had his best game as a Redbird. Sure, he made some mistakes but he had some clutch rebounds and hustle plays that they really needed off the bench.

Someone said that Liam should start the game with 3 fouls, I’d say Sissoko should.
