And how dare I say this, but as entertaining as Versace was as a coach (and innovative and a WINNER)...he was probably more interesting as a person. Actually no question about it. I'd take him as a neighbor in a heartbeat. He's got property in Canton.

Donewald vs. Versace was simply the perfect heated polar rivalry. I look back at that and just grin and giggle. I hope BobbyD and DickyV do the same. How many of you old schoolers wore the Versace afro at games?? Heck, how many of you old schoolers had afros?!!

I actually won the DickyV look alike contest in '82 or '83. I had a bad polyester suit with a stocking cap with glued on cotton balls. I then had three friends, in suits, act as my body guards as we made our way thru Horton. It was apparent that Redbird fans didn't like me. I made it to the baseline where bu was warming up and I started screaming something at them. At this point one of their asst coaches came over and told me to leave, and I didn't...until security made me. Pretty darn sure we won that game.
