I was going to respond I was there but then realized I was at a different game. I was at the the 1985 game at Horton Fieldhouse prior to the Michael Jordan charity game. I looked it up and there was 5,213 at that game. I thought that game was against Stanford also. ISU was ranked that year in volleyball. We hosted Illinois that year who was also ranked. I remember losing in lime 4 sets and also remember there were a fair amount of fans at that game also.Anyone here that was at that game against Stanford? Hard to believe we had 5,641 in attendance! That was the first anniversary of 9/11. What was the context of that game?Illinois State Volleyball Attempting Attendance Record September 30 - Illinois State University Athletics

University High grad and High School All-American Ogonna Nnamani played for Stanford. This was their trip to Oganna’s hometown. Oganna was a 4-time All-American at Stanford and 2-time Olympian. Both my girls were playing youth volleyball at the time, so we were there for the match.Anyone here that was at that game against Stanford? Hard to believe we had 5,641 in attendance!
