Not a great weekend for the Birds, and not a great start to the season.

1-3 weekend, able to get the second game on Saturday. Hopefully they pick it up soon.

Mid week at WIU and then a trip to Missouri.

Thanks for posting, Quinnie. There ARE more sports we can share/critique than Football, WBasketball (TPGuy, you may not like the sport, but you gotta love the coach for her X’s and O’s), and MBasketball (‘nuf said). Any chance we can add WVolleyball as a category...I hate volleyball, but these ladies have been fun to watch?

We've tried in the past to add some of the other sports and they just sit empty which just makes me feel bad. Heck, even baseball is in full swing and no one commented on the weekend series until I did.

But between VB, XC, Baseball and Track, ISU is having a good Olympic sport year.
