I'd love to be wrong. Again! ;)
yup that.

My doubts are simply a matter of how long it takes ... buuuutttttt ... this just sets up like 2013. I agree with idea that our defense may be more ready than I am thinking .. like the DL maybe. But our secondary was just so good in 2019 .. best ever for ISUr ... and they are all gone. Then QB and OL have to figure things out. Too many if's for me ... but I see a full rebound in 2022.

But as always, I could be wrong.

Most of Redbirdfan.net was close in this season's predictions thread. We had several people at 5-6. I got caught taking sips of Kool-Aid (I predicted 6-5). I thought that the defense would be very good and it was. I foresaw some issues with the offense and the quarterback position in particular. I was right about that too, but the problems were worse than I thought. We were getting preseason reports saying that the QB's were looking sharp with overall improvement in the offense. We seldom saw that play out in actual games. I should have known better than to believe what I had not seen with my own eyes. There's no fool like an old fool taking sips of Kool-Aid from his Dixie cup. Better luck next year.
