Goredbirds is updated with what we know about the schedule. I'm hoping they get more than four games in before conference. Especially with this young, inexperienced squad.
Schools dropping/adding games at the apparent drop of a hat ... sometimes leaving other schools in the apparent lurch.

Five days before the game, Chicago State drops a home date with IUPUI to replace Wright State in Champaign and play Illinois/North Carolina A&T/Ohio. IUPUI now left to find a replacement game (they did not have COVID, but Wright State does).

LSU, Saint Louis pull out of Lincoln MTE and start own MTE in St. Louis with SIUE (at least they pulled out of Youngstown State MTE because YSU had COVID) and Health Sciences and Pharmacy (who pulled out of a road game with Tennessee-Martin to switch (no corona virus)).

The Golden Window Classic has now also lost San Francisco and Western Kentucky. I think Nebraska and Nevada are the only two of the original eleven left.

Bad Boy Mowers Crossover Classic (residue from Battle 4 Atlantis) is a smoldering mess as Crieghton pulled out due to CoViD-19. Memphis, West Virginia and Wichita State are the only three of the original eight remaining. Gone (for various reasons) are Creighton, Duke, Ohio State, Texas A&M and Utah; added are Northern Iowa, Saint Mary's, South Dakota State, Utah State, Western Kentucky (and one tbd).

Yet there are thirty-plus schools going to Uncasville, Connecticut over the course of the next month to play at the Mohegan Sun Casino & Resort.

Are there any financial penalties assuming no corona virus reason for the switch?

Also, supposedly all of these schools were revising their schedules to limit exposure/travel and stay closer to home for health reasons ... yet they are still criss-crossing the country.

I believe the opener has been moved up to ESPN...the primary station.
Got to believe that is partly due to the Big Boy Mowers Crossover Classic field being so fluid. Wichita State is now out due to CoViD-19, being replaced by VIrginia Commonwealth (who became available when Tennessee canceled their MTE with Charlotte and VCU due to corona virus).

As a result, MVC is on three times opening day -
1:00 PM / Drake at Kansas State (ESPNU)
1:00 PM / Illinois State at Ohio State (ESPN)
3:30 PM / Northern Iowa vs Western Kentucky (ESPNU)
