It is with great sadness that I report the loss of a longtime board member. Charles Rankin passed away on October 4. I had been reading his posts for about 20 years, and even though he and I had both lived in Urbana, we had never met. That changed last month. I had a chance to meet Chuck in mid September and I found him to be just as enjoyable in person. He loved Garcia's pizza and Redbird Athletics so we had a lot in common. Chuck was especially fond of women's sports (volleyball and basketball) so I am posting this on the WBB. I am glad I had the chance to meet you Chuck and I am sorry I waited so long.
