I will take this back. There will be a better game this weekend. Fire up the Peoria Charter, save on gas and share the uber with Bradley. There is normally one game from the tourney that stands out above all the others. This will probably be the one of the weekend. Lead Changes , ties, swings. I hope we come out on top. 1 win is better than sharing the bus with Bradley
Hopefully whatever this era of ISU basketball is over after this game. The offense has been the same since Muller has been here, jack 3's and hope for the best. Our offense can't operate at 20% from 3. We need to be 30 or greater for any chances based on what ever you call our offense.
Most of our conference games wouldn't be. MVC is a guard league. It's why Loyola has stood out.
They called the flagrant fouls. Can’t blame it on officiating when all we do is chuck 3sMissed too many wide open shots. Officiating was about as bad as I have seen this season.
I doubt it will be over. But isn't this similar to what Golden State does? It's what all the kids want to do. I'm not saying it shouldn't be over, but I wonder if this is the way the game itself is moving. I mean a 6'10 guy has ruled over the MVC for 4 years, and now we got another one to deal with for 3 or 4 more years in this kid from Northern Iowa and then the kid at Southern didn't look too bad for a Freshman.Hopefully whatever this era of ISU basketball is over after this game. And my final thought for now. 3 games in a row against a team without its all-American, who is a bottom tier team, and got out coached 3 times.Sitting in my car getting ready to head home after another embarrassing performance by ISU at Arch Madness. We can say we are young and make whatever excuses.
UNI is young as well and I don’t think I’ve ever seen in person one team so physically outmatched as we were tonight. We either need our players to find the weight room or find better player.
A sad pathetic chapter in ISU basketball.
Other than the fact that golden state has won 3 nba championships in the past decade and have had steph curry and klay Thompson, then yes this is similar.I doubt it will be over. Surely you are not blaming the officials for this loss? If not, why even mention it? It had zero bearing on the outcome of this game.Missed too many wide open shots. Officiating was about as bad as I have seen this season.
