We are too weak, in terms of scoring, in the front court. Mahorcic and that’s all. We need a second scoring threat, I.e. Lamb and Cornley, Cornley and Stefanovic, Hawkins and McIntosh, etc. Abdou and Kotov will not be scorers. Too early to tell about Sissoko. Why isn’t Andrews seeing the floor, at least for experience?

Lottich has Muller's number, that much is for sure ...

Do not need to see Kotov and Ndaiye on the floor at the same time anytime soon. Not hard to defend us when we are essentially three versus five on the offensive end.

Would like to see Fleming Jr. start over Srrong tomorrow. I like Stong's motor but he is forcing things on the offensive end way too much.

Yeah, Valpo has played in every year they’ve been in the league. They have now beaten the Birds 6 straight with those play in teams. Man that is so bad...

How can a 6-7 starter only get one rebound in a game? And how can the starting PG play 33 minutes and only have one assist?

Look at the quotes from Fleming. Maybe he will emerge as the vocal leader
You’re really grasping here brotha. Not exactly fire and brimstone....

"I doubt it was Valparaiso, I'd say we beat ourselves," said Fleming Jr.

So after 9 years of being our head coach, we still hear quotes like this from him?!?!? He still doesn't know how to "fire up" a team? Valpo went into yesterday's game with 1 D1 victory. They were short players, were on the road, and were horrible at hitting the 3 ball. We aren't good enough to take any team for granted, and yet, here we are. Swept at home by Indy St and now we are looking at getting swept by Valpo. This is Redbird basketball.

I think Cali has found a kindred spirit in 85 ...

... and when did Fleming Jr. become head coach?

"I doubt it was Valparaiso, I'd say we beat ourselves," said Fleming Jr.
He also said

"Freshman guard Howard Fleming Jr. said that some of his teammates were sluggish ahead of game time, and when one member is lacking effort, it hurts the entire team being so young."

So we have a freshman who is currently not a starter who says it was on the Redbirds and without naming anyone in particular called out teammates as sluggish. I also saw a video clip where he talked about "swinging the ball". I am paraphrasing but something like Swinging the ball has been a point of focus. They have scorers but have to pay together and they will get better. Sorry I can't find clip now.

Anyhow i don't need a Dan Campbell we are going to bite off their knee cap fire and brimstone moment for someone to show leadership. If someone get their teammates to play better as a team no matter how demonstative I'm for it. Im just hoping this may be the first steps of current player stepping to be a vocal leader. BTW, I always liked Tony Dungy's style and class.

Read Dan’s quote in the article. Never said Fleming was the hc, but thanks for playing.

Hey!! ‘85 was a great year for all Chicagoans.

IN regard to Redbird BB, I absolutely want change. I think we all do, but I don’t recall ever calling out any players.
Speaking of the buy out...is it a rule that if we buy out Muller’s contract, we have to pay it as a lump sum?
Either way, this program is on the abyss and two more years of Muller pulling the strings will push us over the edge.
In other words, as I’ve said previously said, not buying out Muller is very shortsighted.

You didn't reference Muller's quote, but you did Fleming Jr. Just reading what you posted.
