Feeling much better after this game. This team had a lot of growth to do but it is nice to hear dinner if the young guys doing that. Horne was great down the stretch. Sissoko had a really nice game. Also two games over 70% from the line for the team? Yes please.

Yeah it sucks they gave up another 20 point lead but overall an encouraging game. This team didn’t stop fighting. The team of the last two years loses that game in the same scenario.

DJ put the team on his back at the end of the game. Hadn’t shot well at all but hit a couple big buckets and FT to keep the Birds up.

Sy obviously will make an impact if he can get out of his own way.

Dick was very high on Sissoko. When the Birds brought him in, I felt he was a raw talent. I think that’s still the case but go out, fight for rebounds, and play good d, you’ll be on the court.

Sure, UMASS Lowell isn’t Ohio State but they have talent as proven by their win over San Francisco who just beat Virginia. I liked the balanced scoring effort today coupled with the continued fight. Nice win for the guys. Hopefully they get a game scheduled next week.
