It does get old. Game after game (year after year??), constant chuckin', just a few times a game when someone cuts to the hoop and gets a pass, possession after possession when only one or two guys touch the ball, missed bunnies, more missed bunnies, no offensive boards (no big guys underneath). Etc. etc. Did I mention poor D? Coming out of timeouts only to get zippo. Are there plays? I feel like we need Norman Dale to order 4 passes per possession. We're in sorry shape.

Probably semantics but LARAVIA is listed as a Guard, but he’s 6’9 and 230 pounds. He averages 6 boards per game.

2 pages, that used to be a sign of a win. 4-5 pages on a win, 20 on a loss, you could tell if we won or lost simply by looking at the number of posts. Not anymore, interest has cratered. I love college basketball, and it’s hard to get excited for a game when the only thing you can hope for is we get hot shooting from the outside. It’s the same movie most every game, no plan on offense, usually bad defense, rebounding is a 50/50 proposition if we do it well. You just have no confidence as you watch them play, disappointing to say the least.

The crowd wasn't into the game, but the Birds didn't do much to get them going.
I think back to the late 70's and mid 80's and how the those teams played hard and competed, and I don't see anything now that comes close to that comparison.

When I put the computer aside and quit watching, we have reached new lows. That happened yesterday. Sad.
I will watch again today because I am an ISU fan. I will hope for a good shooting day to make me feel a bit better.
