The last few minutes didn't suck. Need to build off that. Need to focus on getting better as the season goes on.

This is one of my favorite type of Muller losses. We get absolutely embarrassed with no realistic chance of winning. We get behind so far the other team rests it’s starters and loses focus. We throw in some garbage buckets and still lose.

Post game, Muller says we just weren’t mature enough at the start and if we played like we did during that 3 minute stretch when the other team quit trying, we would have won the game. Waiting for it tonight on WJBC.

Good job by Dan. Got worse between last night and today.

Can’t wait to hear about the positives and how we should support this garbage just because it’s ISU!!! Only positive thoughts to be a true Redbird fan!

at this point it seems like a matter of when versus if.

we are so bad it’s hard to tell if it’s coaching or players. And when it gets to that point I think we are near the end.

Might as well . . . I'll never see it, which is fine. Watching the games is painful enough . . .

Loyola has 24 assists and 8 turnovers, a 3 to 1 assist to turnover ratio. Very disciplined offense, constantly passing the ball and cutting to the basket, as well as getting the ball in the paint to their forwards.
ISU has 13 assists and 17 turnovers. Too much dribbling and poor passing. At least the team is consistent. Everyone who played had at least one turnover.
ISU with no inside game. Between Mahorcic, Sissoko and Kotav, only 8 shots attempted and two of those were 3 point shots, so only 6 shots total from our bigs.

Evansville is now better than us. I would love to see these guys with a real coach.
Marty Simmons and Dan ‘s careers are increasingly looking alike....beloved ex-stars whose popularity led the schools to exercise too much patience waiting for success.....sad on both counts....

I keep hearing this team is young (I don’t remember an NCAA rule you have to be young and SIU is playing all Freshman and Sophomores), however go back and watch film of Muller’s early recruiting class. Are any of these players remotely as good as Lee, Lynch, Hawkins, McIntosh, or Wills when they were Freshman. How about Carmichael or Osiris?

It’s not the players fault, but this roster would be lucky to have a guy by the time they are a senior as good as those players were as Freshman.

That doesn’t even account for the transfers we got early on like Daishon or Fayne.

As much as the ISU fan base wants to defend Muller and the program at all costs. You will never be a good program with this level of talent. You combine that with the lack of coaching talent in Muller and you get rock bottom.

I’m not defending Muller, but DJ Horne is on pace to have a better career than Paris and it’s not even close assuming his averages hold this year. Too early to say much about this years freshman.

No point - dead board, dead fan base, dead program. The Muller virus has infiltrated and destroyed what we all once loved.

Maybe on the offensive end, but on D? I don't see him becoming DPOY . . .
