Kolbe has put on 20lbs and healthy. Sounds like he is primed for a breakout year as the QB he was billed as out of HS.

it said "20 lbs stronger" .. there's just no way that frame put on 20 actual lbs in single offseason. Roster has him at 215 today ... he got here at 200 lbs, and was listed at 205 last season.

So he's put on 10 lbs since last year, which is great news. His frame should be much stronger. Hoping some of it is in his legs .. could use a little more power and burst from his legs. That and experience feeling the pocket will go a long way this season.

Well that sounds like good news from a strength standpoint. I am very hopeful for a Great Year from Kolbe.

The difference has to come in decision-making at the line of scrimmage and in the pocket. Cannot take many sacks - either throw it away or take off running if it is not there, before waiting to decide to run when the linemen are right on top of you.

We started many drives last year before the 40's and got no points - that cannot happen, if you expect to be a championship caliber team. With a good defense and good return man - I foresee a lot of good field position to start drives.

so pantagraph quoted Spack on other thread as saying Kolbe is up to 220 ... eh, I'll believe that when I see him. Either way, it is good news about his adding some needed beef .. whether it is 215 or 220. We'll be fun to see him take step forward.
