Watching the NIT Championship game - Fran Fraschilla, what a Big East snob, and talking down to Indiana State and the Valley. Then in the last 3 minutes of the first half - with Indiana State finishing the half on a 13-3 run - virtually silent. Typical East Coast mentality.

Big runs by both teams from the end of the first half on. It was a great game of uppercuts. Just sucks Seton Hall landed the last punch. Great atmosphere at Hinkle, props to Indy St fans. And a great season for them.

Live by the sword die by the sword. Indy kept putting up three pointers early in the shot clock. Should have been more patient and try to get to the line with a 7 point lead and two minutes to go.

That is one way to snatch Defeat from the Jaws of Victory......Avila had three attempts from 3, all early in each possession. Surprised me - because in their other NIT games - down the stretch, worked the ball for a lot of back-cuts or cleared the lane for a drive to the hoop.
