Would love for us to adopt the NC State mentality on offense. First time I've watched them this year and they attack like crazy. No true bigs underneath, just a lot of wing pressure and movement TOWARDS the hoop. Good interior passing once help arrives as well.

I hate jacking 3's all day... even if that's our "strength".

NC State did lose the 9th seed in the MVC, Northern Iowa on a neutral floor. NC State beat UNC who beat Duke. Does that make Duke the 10 seed in the MVC?

Shit, we could have beat out Duke for Bagley.

More offense would always be nice, but it wasn't really the main issue. That was the highest scoring season since Muller's first year. The problem is we haven't allowed that many points since the 94-95 season though. Surprisingly we only had 11 more turnovers than last year, so that didn't impact the defense too much either.

As far as three point shoot, we just have to embrace it. That is the way the sport is going as teams catch up with the stats. We didn't shoot well from 3, at 34% this year. Replacing shot for shot we would have to shoot 51% on 2 point fgs, just for the same point production. We were under that this year. Last year we would have needed 55.4%, and we were well under that. If you have an efficient big man you can play for two, but otherwise keep shooting the threes.

There is a big differenc between 3 pt shots out of a set offensive rhythm and 3 point shots where we pass the ball around the perimeter and then “settle” for a 3
