It seems to me McChesney's problem with shooting the trey is he thinks too much. He doesn't just catch and let it go. The best 3 I've seen him make this year (and he's only made 2) was in the 1st Northwestern State game. The shot clock was running out and he was almost literally shooting the ball as he was receiving the ball. He didn't have time to think about it . . . just let it go . . . nothin' but net.

I think he feels a lot of pressure to prove how good he is, but has tied himself in knots trying to do so. Like we've said about so many of our players, just let the game come to him and respond according to what years of practice has taught him. Don't think. Just do.

Oh . . . relax and have fun. The game's easier when you're not trying to be perfect.
