I'm starting to agree with those that are wondering what impact Sissoko would have on this team. Looking forward to getting him back. Need a banger.

It looks like some more movement on offense. Not real fluid yet but better.

Just an observation, I watched Gonzaga vs Texas last night and Texas put a beating on Gonzaga. Their style of play was ultra physical, in your face defense and they bullied Gonzaga, similar to what Baylor did to them in the Final Four a few years ago.

I've been a big fan of Gonzaga and their style of play (which has some similarities to Ohio State) and Of course ISU and NWST are at different levels but I see a difference in style of play and physicality tonight that reminds me of these other matchups.

NWST is playing very physical and aggressive on the defensive end and they are also on offense by attacking the rim.

Someone please remind me why we’re playing Northwestern State again.

How do you not call a timeout in that final possession? Especially after the offensive rebound? Completely inexcusable and something you would only do if you weren’t confident in your ability drawing something I up. Obviously it never should have gotten to that point but that is where we found ourselves because for the majority of the game we were terrible on both sides of the ball.

I thought we should have called time out and put Burford back in the game when we got the defensive block. Sharp picks Luke's pocket and get the go ahead basket. We then put Bueford back in the game.

We had 2 timeouts and and called one when Lewis made his 3 ... not sure why.

Not sure what happened but it looks like some our Courtside fans were very upset at couple of their players after the game.

Kasubke should be cut some slack because he’s been pretty good so far this season, but tonight for whatever reason #0 Sharp (the former Missouri State player) put the same spin move on him EVERY SINGLE time to get to the rim with ease and lay it in for 2. He looked lost all game trying to defend it, akin to be on skates. Also of course the late turnover that was a back breaker with Burford out with cramping.

Brutal. Not sure how to feel thus far. We're doing some things better than before, but man, can't put it together as of yet. Early early early though. Hopefully we show up more as the season goes on
