Article in today's Indianapolis Star mentions Richart and ISU's interest, other schools pursuing him. The story is about a weekend AAU tournament in Indy and other standouts. Folks may want to check it out since Indiana is supposedly on our radar again.

Nick Richart The 6-9 Richart put together a solid junior season at Zionsville, averaging 9.5 points and 6.1 rebounds on 60% shooting from the field and continues to get better. Division I schools are starting to take note. Wofford, Columbia, Penn, Furman, Belmont and Illinois State are interested. Richart has a nice shot and you can really tell his work in the weight room is starting to pay off. He should be in line for a strong senior season.

Another mention of Richart and ISU's interest in today's Indy Star.

Richart said he has added about 30 pounds since his freshman year and is now up to 225 pounds, which has also added to his confidence. He picked up an offer earlier this month from Illinois State and is receiving interest from several other schools, including Belmont, Columbia, Penn, Brown, Cornell and Air Force. “It was a happy surprise (to receive the Illinois State offer),” he said. “They really like my footwork and how versatile I can be running the floor and they said they like how I fit their character model as far as being a good teammate and guys that like playing the game and contribute to the chemistry.”

The article also mentions another guy who I don't see on our "interest" thread on the board (maybe I missed it) but the article says we have "been in contact", he also sounds pretty interesting:

One of the biggest — literally — sleepers in the 2023 in-state class is 6-10 David Meriwether, who earned a spot on the Junior All-Stars after averaging 10.5 points, 11.3 rebounds and 3.8 blocked shots last season at Metropolitan. Meriwether has transferred to Lawrence North for his senior year. “It’s been fun,” he said. “I like playing with that team and being around some better players.” Meriwether plays on the same George Hill All-Indy team with Cathedral’s Xavier Booker and Carmel’s Garwey Dual. He picked up his first Division I offer in late May from IUPUI. He said Illinois State and Miami of Ohio are among the other schools that have been in contact.
