After being totally bummed by the Men's game, I did watch most of this one. IMPRESSIVE!

Good things happen when the Birds play team basketball. One thing about this team is once they figure out who is hitting shots they keep feeding them. Need to keep the energy up against Valpo and UIC this weekend so we can come back to Redbird ready to battle UNI and Drake.

Cindy, what's happened to Waite's minutes? She seems to be seeing the floor less and not scoring so much. Injured or just other girls moving past her?

Think the problem with Waite is if she is not hitting or even getting shots her defense is not going to keep her on the floor.

I think the reasoning is what cubird said. Her shot hasn't been falling and she gives up to many inches on defense most of the time. I think once her shot starts falling again she'll see a little more time. It helps to have Dowell there to step in. Not a lot of freshmen have the maturity that she does.

Waite went cold v Bradley and has not yet gotten her shot back. I am confident she will return to form sooner rather than later.
