The Lady Birds won a great game in OT vs Valpo - granted we had a lot of chances to put them away in regulation, but they played a great OT
Valpo is tough - they've beaten Illinois and Purdue on the road and gave Wisconsin an OT game as well and split with UNI

I watched for a while in the first half, and they looked pretty good, had a nice lead going into halftime. Freshman Kate Bullman sure looked solid. Maya Wong also played well. Coach G has them looking pretty good, hope they get a chance to do some post season this year.

Good win for the Birds even though it felt like they were going to give it away in the 4th. We had held their two leading scorers to 0 points until the 4th quarter. I think missing a few weeks of practice time and games dues to COVID has put us a little behind in where we could be but still see great things with this team. It will be interesting to see how both teams come out of the gate today after playing extra basketball yesterday.
Coach G has brought this program back and made it exciting to be a fan again. The Valley is tough this year. Hopefully we can get some wins against Bradley, Drake, and Missouri State.
