Mary is a going to go on and do great things in this world. Great athlete but even better person. It has been a joy to watch her game grow the last few years. I think it was the Missouri St game this year where she drove to the basket, drawing the double team, and passed the ball out to Paige near the end of the game. Smart play by her to know she could drive and get 2 or pass out if she got doubled. We are going to miss her next year. If you ever get the chance to talk with her parents they are so nice and appreciative of all the support Mary has gotten at ISU.

Crompton has set the bar even higher academically. She has been named a Bone Scholar, the highest academic honor ISU bestows, and was the MVC Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2022.

The Iowa City, Iowa, native has an undergraduate degree in biology while specializing in physiology, neuroscience and behavior and a minor in chemistry. She will complete her master’s degree in biology in May before enrolling in medical school.

She has been accepted at the University of Iowa medical school, has an upcoming interview with Vanderbilt and is awaiting confirmation from two other med schools.

Good lord. All while setting school records for shooting.
