MVC race

3 way tie with ISU, Belmont (won 10 in a row) and UNI. Four games to go.

ISU plays UIC and the three Indy schools. All of which are under .500. I like our chances of going 4-0 and finishing 17-3.

We beat Belmont the only time we played them this year so we should have the tiebreaker over them. They play UNI Thursday night at Belmont so one of them will have another loss. What would be best for us is for Belmont to beat UNI and then lose to Drake on Saturday. After that Belmont has Valpo and UIC. After Belmont, UNI has Murray St on the road and then hosts SIU and Missouri St who are also tough teams.

I do agree with Quinn that I like our chances of going 4-0 down the stretch.

Agree we should all be rooting for Belmont to beat UNI. Even if end up tied with Belmont we have the head to head tie breaker

The tournament should be interesting. There are 5 teams that have a legit shot although being the 5 seed would mean having to play 4 games.

They split on the Iowa trip which anyone who follows the MVC women's league will tell you is the toughest trip in 2023. It only gets tougher when your travel partner is Bradley who has not won a game in the MVC. ISU consistently has to play a rested oppnent's squad the second game of the road trip. The Birds are playing fine. They have a good a chance as any of the top 4 teams (I still contend the 5th seed is at a disadvantage due to the extra game).

Have some faith and PMA (positive mental attitude).
